Walking my Broccoli
Through my photographs I sought to create a comedic and whimsical feeling for the viewer. Utilizing public spaces, I placed out-of-context objects and people engaging with them into otherwise normal, expected scenes. Pops of color further enhance the mood and balanced, aesthetic compositions help create dynamic photographs. Ideally viewers will consider closely what they are looking at and question what is actually going on in the scene. The body of work further serves as a study of difference between static and chaotic, with the photographs verging toward chaotic. The scenes require the viewer to create an individual personal story of what is happening in each.
